STRAIGHTFORWARD COUNSELING
Crisis Resources
We understand that life is full of ups and downs, and sometimes it can be difficult to know where to turn for help. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or in crisis, please know that you are not alone. There are resources available to you, including crisis lines staffed by trained professionals who are ready to listen and offer support. If you are experiencing thoughts of suicide, self-harm, or harm to others, it is important to call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. For all other crisis situations, please consider calling a crisis line. Remember, these crisis lines are not a substitute for professional counseling services, but they can provide a listening ear and connect you with additional resources to help you get through a difficult time. Don't hesitate to reach out - help is available when you need it most.

Worksheets
At times, your counselor may ask you to complete a worksheet as part of your therapy sessions. These worksheets are designed to help you explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a more structured way. Worksheets can be a useful tool to help you track your progress, identify patterns or trends, and develop insights into your experiences. Completing worksheets can also help you generate ideas for topics to discuss in future therapy sessions. We welcome and encourage clients to use these worksheets as a way to deepen their understanding of themselves and their experiences. Rest assured that any information you provide on a worksheet will be kept confidential and will only be shared with your counselor as part of your therapy sessions.
